Overview
The Department of Educational Psychology has been operating since the establishment of Tafila Technical University, as one of its leading academic departments dedicated to preparing specialized professionals in the fields of education and educational psychology, with a particular focus on qualifying personnel in special education. The Department contributes to the academic and professional preparation of students through a modern learning environment that adopts the latest educational approaches.

The Department offers a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, in addition to Higher Diploma programs in Educational Administration (since the first semester of 2009/2010) and Learning Difficulties (since the first semester of 2012/2013). It also offers a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology. Furthermore, the Department is supported by a distinguished academic staff with high qualifications and diverse expertise in various educational fields.
