Overview
The College of Educational Sciences was established following the Royal Decree for the founding of Tafila Technical University in January 2005. Since its inception, the College has been recognized as one of the leading academic institutions dedicated to preparing qualified educational professionals capable of contributing to the advancement of the educational process.
The College comprises two main departments: the Department of Educational Psychology and the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. It offers a range of academic programs at both the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, in addition to Higher Diploma programs in several educational specializations. These include Master’s programs in Curriculum and Instruction and Educational Psychology, as well as Bachelor’s programs in Special Education and Classroom Teacher Education. The College also offers Higher Diploma programs in fields such as Education, School Administration, Learning Difficulties, and Instructional Technology.
Furthermore, the College contributes to teaching educational courses for diploma students at the Tafila Technical Intermediate College, thereby strengthening its role in supporting the educational process at various levels. It is committed to preparing competent educational professionals equipped with both scientific knowledge and practical skills, enabling them to keep pace with modern developments in teaching and learning.
