Languages Center
The Language Center was established as an academic unit directly affiliated with the University President and operates with the full support of the Presidency Office. It is dedicated to delivering high-quality educational and training services to students, faculty members, administrative staff, and the wider local community.
Throughout the academic year, including the summer semester, the Center offers a wide range of specialized courses and training workshops at competitive and accessible rates, designed to meet the diverse needs of its beneficiaries.
The Center also plays a vital role in strengthening engagement with the local community by providing educational services to school students, particularly those in the secondary stage, through carefully designed programs that align with their academic needs and future aspirations. Furthermore, the Center serves as a specialized academic unit committed to teaching globally significant languages, which have witnessed increasing demand in recent years due to the evolving requirements of globalization.
Objectives

To enhance students’ proficiency in Arabic and English, as well as European languages such as German, Italian, French, and Spanish, through the design and delivery of specialized, academically grounded training programs.

To prepare international students for academic study in Arabic by offering dedicated programs for teaching Arabic as a foreign language.

To organize and deliver multilingual training courses and workshops in alignment with the needs of the University and the local community, in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.

To provide preparatory courses in English for internationally recognized examinations such as TOEFL, IELTS, and other standardized tests required by the community.

To contribute to the professional development of students and educators in Arabic and English through specialized training programs and workshops, in collaboration with the Faculty of Educational Sciences, the Ministry of Education, and other relevant entities.

To establish partnerships and cooperation agreements with international institutions and cultural attachés in the field of language education, thereby promoting cultural and academic exchange.

To award certificates to participants of the Center’s training programs in accordance with the University’s regulations and policies.

To deliver training programs through highly qualified instructors, including faculty members and full-time lecturers specializing in language instruction.

To engage, when necessary, part-time lecturers from the local community holding Master’s and PhD degrees, in coordination with the University Presidency.
