The College of Engineering and the Technical Community College are considered fundamental pillars of Tafila Technical University since its establishment in 2005 to the present day. They have played a significant role in shaping and advancing the university’s academic framework. With the continuous development of its academic programs, the College of Engineering stands among the largest colleges at both public and private universities. It comprises five academic departments offering (13) undergraduate programs, (10) programs at the intermediate diploma level, in addition to (3) master’s degree programs in Electrical Power Engineering, Applied Mechanical Engineering, and Chemical and Mining Engineering.

The College is home to a distinguished academic staff holding advanced degrees from prestigious international universities. They contribute to delivering high-quality education within a dynamic and stimulating learning environment. Faculty members are actively engaged in conducting research across various engineering disciplines, publishing in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and participating in local, regional, and international conferences.

The College also includes an integrated administrative and technical team of laboratory supervisors, technicians, and administrative staff, who support the educational process and ensure the efficiency of academic and operational performance, thereby enhancing the quality of the learning environment. In addition, the College is equipped with a wide range of modern laboratories and workshops distributed across its departments, providing an advanced practical environment that supports students’ learning and enhances their hands-on skills.
