Mission
The College of Engineering is committed to providing high-quality engineering and technical education aligned with international accreditation standards, particularly outcome-based education principles. The College prepares graduates who possess strong theoretical foundations, advanced technical competencies, and professional and ethical skills, enabling them to meet the evolving demands of the labor market. The College actively promotes engagement with industry and the community, fosters applied research, and ensures continuous quality improvement of its academic programs in alignment with ABET and AQAS requirements.
Strategic Objectives
- Design, develop, and continuously improve academic programs and curricula based on clearly defined Student Outcomes, Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), and stakeholder feedback, in alignment with international accreditation standards (ABET / AQAS).
- Ensure that graduates achieve measurable learning outcomes encompassing technical knowledge, problem-solving, design, communication, teamwork, and ethical responsibility.
- Establish and sustain a systematic Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) framework to assess, evaluate, and enhance all academic processes based on measurable performance indicators.
- Strengthen academic programs through regular curriculum review, benchmarking with peer institutions, and alignment with industry needs and technological advancements.
- Enhance teaching and learning environments by providing modern laboratories, advanced equipment, and contemporary engineering tools that support experiential and outcome-based learning.
- Develop and continuously improve the competencies of faculty and staff through professional development, research engagement, and academic training aligned with accreditation standards.
