The Community Relations and Communications Directorate was established at the inception of Tafila Technical University to serve as the primary entity responsible for fostering effective communication between the university and the local community, as well as engaging with various academic, governmental, and professional institutions. The directorate functions as a transparent mirror reflecting the university’s achievements and initiatives, documenting collaboration with diverse entities, and building trust and strong communication channels with cultural, scientific, and media institutions across Jordan. Its ultimate goal is to promote awareness of the university and respond to inquiries regarding its academic and scientific affairs.
The directorate also oversees the preparation, printing, and distribution of university publications, brochures, and newsletters, while documenting all news, articles, magazines, images, and audiovisual materials related to the university. Its responsibilities extend to receiving feedback and information from the public, utilizing this data to enhance university performance, meet stakeholder needs and expectations, and contribute to building a positive institutional image among both internal and external audiences.

It also produces and presents diverse media programs that reflect the university’s identity, foster student media skills, and encourage their participation in campus media production, while serving the broader local community.
