The Department of English Language and Literature was established in 2006. The first class of bachelor’s students graduated in 2009. The number of faculty members is Fourteen, One full professor, three with the rank of associate professor, two with the rank of assistant professor, one with the rank of Instructor and six with the rank of full-time lecturers. These instructors, who hold both doctoral and masters’ degrees, teach different subjects according to their specialization in all areas of the English language: literature, criticism, syntax, and applied linguistics.
