Tafilah Technical
University adopts the credit hour system. Its academic
year consists of two obligatory semesters namely (fall
and spring) and the summer semester which is
obligatory for diploma students only.
First
semester (fall):
1. 14-21/9/2008:
beginning of study and the week of adding and dropping
courses.
2. 19-30/10/2008: deadline for the first
examination
3. 14/12/2008: registration for the
second semester
4. 30/11-11/12/2008: deadline for the
second examination
5. 14/12/2008: deadline for
dropping courses
6. 4-12/1/2009: final
examination
Second Semester
(spring):
1. 1-5/2/2009: beginning
of study and the week of adding and dropping
courses.
2. 1-12/3/2009: deadline for the first
examination
3. 12-23/4/2009: deadline for the
second examination
4.24/4/2009: deadline for
dropping courses
5. 17-24/5/2008: final
examination
Summer

students):
6. 21-23/6/2009: beginning
of study and the week of adding and dropping
courses.
7. 5-9/7/2009: deadline for the
first examination
8.26-30/7/2009: deadline
