A warm welcome is extended to all TTU students in home, the Deanship of Student Affairs. It seeks to achieve the goals for which the university was established in order to contribute to preparing the students, developing their skills and preferences, building up a balanced integrated character, developing a sense of responsibility towards the homeland, providing the students with everything necessary for cultural, intellectual, technical, physical and social development through the presence of active student commissions, particularly TTU Students Union and student clubs. The deanship is also interested in exploiting youth capabilities, directing the students to serve their university and homeland and keeping in contact with local community institutions through building up a continuous fruitful partnership with all these institutions; accordingly, this will definitely enhance loyalty to their own society.
Given the fact that the student is the centre of the learning process , knowledge alone is not enough to create a new generation believing in Allah, loving and belonging to the homeland, it is necessary to develop other skills accompanying student knowledge, the most important skills of which include creativity, personality refinement, mind and thought building, and capacity development. It is also necessary to create a suitable environment where the student is the centre of comprehensive sustainable development at the national level in the sense that the student should be well-equipped with necessary skills before being engaged in the labour market.
