The College of Engineering was established on January 17, 2005 with three academic departments: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Natural Resources Engineering Department. In 2006, the Civil Engineering Department was added. The College of Engineering has witnessed a noticeable expansion in terms of new engineering programs, number of students, and number of faculty members.
The College is committed to excellence in education to produce engineering graduates with outstanding analytical skills. Our graduates had assumed leading roles in industry in Jordan and abroad. The faculty members at the college come from diverse academic and industrial backgrounds and are committed to offering quality education to our students in a dynamic learning environment. The faculty members always strive to link the real world with classroom instructions to provide better achievements to students. Currently the number of faculty members approach about sixty in both Ph.D. and MScE degree holders. The faculty members are engaged in a variety of engineering research and are well published in regional and international engineering journals. They have assumed leading roles in local, regional and international conferences.
