The Student Union is considered as a representative to all students and it is normally  elected directly by the students themselves. The Union plays the following roles:

1- Student's participation and interaction with the national issues and occasions.         
2- Opens a constant dialogue between students and the University Administration.
3- Strengthens and reinforces the sense of belonging and interaction with the local community in various activities .
4- It adopts students' affairs and worries and bridges the views with the University Administration.
5- It looks ambitiously to patron lectures; educational, social , and  religious seminars and exhibitions.
