The Utilities Department which was established in 2006 has the following Branches:

1. Administrative Services Branch.
2. Agricultural Branch.
3. Campus Security Branch.
4. Nutrition Branch.
5. Maintenance Branch.

The Utilities Department provides all the necessary services for all the colleges and the departments of the university; in the following way:

 1. Administrative services Branch:  Head of Branch: Odeh Swalka
This Branch includes the following sections, each one with different function as follows:

a. Cleaning section: It keeps all the university facilities clean.
b. Housing section: It supervises the furnishing and handing over of the apartments for the teaching staff. It also coordinates with those who are related to pay for the rentals, utilities bills and the different maintenance works.
c. Transportation section: It provides the university teaching staff, students and the employees with the suitable means of transportation. It is also responsible for transferring the students of the university model school all around the city.

2. Agricultural Branch: Head of Branch: E.Ruba Mhaseen
 The job of this Branch includes:
 a. the supervision of the campus landscape.
 b. planting and increasing the transplants in the university nursery to use them for different purposes such as; planting, selling and gifts’ presentation.

3. Campus security Branch:   Head of Branch: Suleman Sood
This Branch maintains the security of both the students and the employees inside the campus. It also supervises the general safety requirements in all the university facilities.    

4. Nutrition Branch: Head of Branch: E.Mohamad aljradeen
This Branch provides food and drinks to both the students and the employees through the university restaurants and cafeterias; it also supplies the seminars and the conferences that are held in the university with food and drinks.

5. Maintenance Branch: Head of Branch: Ahmad Bdoor
the Branch undertakes implementing the required electrical, mechanical and structural works, as well as maintaining, perpetuating, the university buildings and constructions, and developing the understructures of the various university facilities maintaining and perpetuating all electrical and mechanical system and equipments from the main and secondary transference stations, spare electricity generation stations, central heating stations and their belonging boilers, water and irrigation pipelines nets, hygienic works, conditioning and cooling machinery, the central kitchens beside the carpenter workshop .
