The Department of Arabic Language and Literature

The Department began teaching under this name in the academic year 2005/2006, and it was established at the beginning of the second semester of the academic year 2005/2006. It has been providing its majors, who are currently about 118, with a foundation in the understanding of Arabic language, literature, criticism and syntax ever since. The Department of Arabic constitutes 13 teaching staff members.
