The
minimum secondary education average required for
admission to the Faculty of Engineering is 80%, but
65% in the rest . Admission also
depends on the student's stream in secondary
education:

Science
- stream students can get admission in any
college.

Arts-stream
students can get admission in the following
specializations: kindergarten, business economy,
business management, classroom teacher of English,
classroom teacher, accounting, Arabic language and
literature, English language and
literature.

Students
of other streams can get admission only if they
finish the required supplementary courses
successfully.

Diploma
students can secure admission in their previous
fields of study provided that they get 68% or
above in the comprehensive exam.
Diploma
The
minimum average required for getting admission is 50%
in the general secondary certificate or its
equivalence. Students of the following streams can get
admission:
· Science
- stream students can join any
specialization.
· Arts
- stream students can study Child education or
accounting.
· Industrial
stream students can join relevant
specializations.
